purpose
Morton Feldman's Piano and String Quartet existed as facsimiles of the original hand-written score. As an exercise in the music engraving programming language Lilypond, and to facilitate performance, the composition was engraved in Lilypond as its first setting.
The score was adapted for presentation with recording in a YouTube video.

Notation is input to match to the original hand-written score, with Lilypond enforcing a standard spacing and consistent rendering.
